CREATIVE WRITING / TELEVISION PRODUCTION
During my time with WWE and Turner Sports, I was a member of the Creative Writing Team, writing weekly two-hour live broadcasts such as Monday Night RAW on USA Network, Smackdown on UPN Network, Monday Nitro on TNT and Thursday Thunder on TBS, as well as monthly Pay-Per-View events like WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, Survivor Series and SummerSlam. I was also a member of the Creative Writing Team for IMPACT from 2003-2008, helping to write weekly two-hour IMPACT broadcasts on Fox Sports Net and SpikeTV and monthly Pay-Per-View events. One of my responsibilities with Impact from 2014-2017 was helping to manage their Television Production department with daily staff workflow, planning, editing and approval of all on-air programming. Other experience included: Format writing, live event production, script writing for pretapes and interviews, offsite video package planning and shooting, editing of long and short-form videos, working with editors to develop b-rolls, lower thirds and transitions, DVD planning and creation. I also oversaw conversion of 3000+ hours of broadcast content (events/matches) into a Digital Asset Management System, as well as all metadata.
One of my proudest accomplishments was coming up with the idea for the highest-rated segment in cable wrestling history, the 1999 Monday Night RAW "This Is Your Life" featuring The Rock and Mick Foley that aired live on USA Network:
